RK900 also goes by Connor (yo it does say "Connor - Upgraded"), but giving him nicknames in-character to avoid the confusion is cool beans.
When appropriate I'll happily play directly from the point of awakening. If not, assume he is only recently awakened and adopted by the new android nation, and doesn't know much of what's what yet. Probably working for the DPD, cause that's what he's good at. Or, if you have something specific in mind, AUs and specific post-game stuff is also fun. My default is that he's Gavin's partner.
